Joy has over five years of sleep specialty experience with Tri Valley Sleep Center and works as the lead administrator of the lab. She is also a patient advocate. Knowing she has played a positive role in treatment of sleep disorder patients brings her much happiness and fulfillment. She takes pride in her ability to communicate with others in a professional, but personal way. Her favorite part of her job is the fact that each day brings new knowledge. The sleep field is ever-changing, which makes room for new experiences and new developments.
Sophia has been in the healthcare field for thirteen years, with two of those years being in sleep medicine. She works hand-in-hand with Joy as an administrator of the lab and is a patient advocate. She enjoys being part of a team whose main focus is patient care and prides herself on treating each patient as a friend. Her goal is to make sure patients feel confident with the services and treatment provided by Tri Valley Sleep Center.
Julia has been a sleep technologist for almost ten years. She enjoys getting to know her patients and helping with such an important part of their life. Her favorite motto is, “Laugh and the world laughs with you. Snore and you sleep alone”.
LaGail has been a sleep technologist for fourteen years. She was a native of Indiana when a previous co-worker thought she would thrive in the sleep field. An opportunity became available in California and she took it. She has also become certified in Massage Therapy, but her passion for sleep medicine prevailed.
Mariflor has been a sleep technologist for fifteen years and she enjoys all aspects of her job.
Cliff has been a sleep technologist for seven years. The best part of his job is seeing the changes he makes in people’s lives when they are being successfully treated.
Ren has been a sleep technologist for ten years. Ren originally lived in China before moving here to the Bay Area. He is also fluent in Mandarin.
Paul has worked in the healthcare field for over fifteen years with over six of those years being in sleep medicine. Paul specializes in MSLT studies; this is the daytime study to test for Narcolepsy. Paul got into the field by experiencing sleep issues himself and learned that many are faced with the same issues. His favorite part of the job is being part of changing lives for the better.
Lydia worked in the sleep field for seven years and is also a Respiratory Therapist. She enjoys the opportunity to help educate patients about sleep and taking part in bettering their lives.
